    Tummy Tuck

Abdominoplasty is a surgical procedure in which excess fat and sagging skin in the anterior part of the abdomen are removed and the abdominal muscles are stretched. These cracks are usually seen in sudden weight changes and pregnancy. The aim of tummy tuck surgery is to remove stretch marks, remove abdominal fat, and restore the ideal appearance of the abdomen after the operation. The duration of tummy tuck surgery varies between 2 and 4 hours. The sutures of the operated patient are removed in 10-15 days depending on the healing process. Patients can leave the hospital after one night under our supervision and can return to work after 2 to 4 weeks. Our surgeons advise our patients to wear a corset for a certain period of time after tummy tuck surgery and to stay away from exercise for a while. After the tummy tuck surgery, a slight scar will remain. Since this scar will fade over time after a certain period of time and the location of the surgical scars will be determined according to the preferred underwear model, it will not pose any problems for the patients.

Who can have tummy tuck surgery?

Full tummy tuck surgery is applied to people who have experienced excessive weight change or have given birth. If the patient has excess skin on the upper part of the navel, and if there is a fold under the navel that he can hold with his hand while sitting, this means that the patient is suitable for tummy tuck surgery. People who are not overly obese for tummy tuck surgery, those whose abdominal fat does not melt despite diet and sports, those who have sagging, loosening and cracks in the abdomen after losing weight, those who have a large abdomen even if they did not give birth, those who have sagging, loosening and cracking due to pregnancy, those who have sagging, loosening and cracked bodies in aesthetic dimensions. However, those who have abdominal fat are suitable for tummy tuck surgery. People who do not have any health problems that prevent tummy tuck surgery can easily undergo tummy tuck surgery (abdominoplasty). If the patient does not have excess skin, if there is only a little lubrication, if the abdominal wall is loosened due to birth and weight change, endoscopic tummy tuck surgery is preferred. If the excess skin and fat accumulates only in the lower part of the navel, mini tummy tuck surgery is performed.
